7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Employees must safeguard client and company information at all times.

  • Use only company-approved tools (HubSpot, Teamwork, Dropbox, etc.) for client work.
  • Do not share client or agency data with outside parties unless authorized.
  • Report any suspected security incidents immediately.

Sharing with Clients

Share openly about project progress, next steps, and deliverables. Do not share internal discussions, disagreements, or financial information unless explicitly cleared by leadership. When in doubt, check with your manager before sharing.

Example: “A client asks about budgets. Unless it’s already approved to share, say, ‘I’ll confirm with my manager and get back to you.’”
